New Album: Weezer

It's #newmusicfriday and time for the weekend!

The alternative band Weezer decided to take notes from karaoke and dedicate their new album, Teal. There's only 10 tracks or covers of some of our favorite songs of all time. Most are 80 and 90s throwbacks like TLC"s "No Scrubs" and Toto's "Africa." Listening to the album, thought they did a great job covering the songs and also putting their spin on them. For instance, their version of "No Scrubs" was an awesome revamp of the R&B classic, sounded like a entire different song with the added guitar and drums parts. Overall, If giving Teal a pass or failing grade, it would be an A for Authentic!
